Before I begin to introduce my project, I would like to begin by thanking Kristal for having me as a Featured Guest Blogger.I truly feel honored and excited to participate in this hop. I have loved using Getting Cricky Stamp sets as I enjoy playing around with the words and seeing what I can build with them. For my project, I wanted to create a Snow Sentational Treat for kids and adults for the Winter Holiday Season. Two months ago,I attended the Scrapbook Expo in Ontario, CA and took one of the workshops which was called The Buzz Chics where I learned different card techniques. There is one that I really enjoyed making which worked perfectly for this hop.

Steps for "Treat Holder"
First: Cut Teal card stock at 10-1/4 x 3-1/4.
Second: Cut Snowflake Paper from Recollections Christmas Pack measured at 10 x 3 and adhere to the teal strip.
Third: With the Snowflake paper facing down, score at 3", 3-3/8", 6-3/8", 6-3/4", and 9.5"
Fourth: Pre-fold at all score marks.
Fifth: Punch 1st 3" section with 1-3/4 punch, centered. (I didn't have that punch but I manually cut a circle out.)
Sixth: Adhere treat to inside back of card with glue dot. As for mine, I placed a Snowman Cookie inside a mini bag.)
Seventh: Fold punched side over; adhere with stacked glue dots.
Eighth: Fold front over top of candy.
Ninth: I cut a tag from Winter Frolic Cartridge: Snowman2 page 29 at size 2.
Tenth: Then, I used Getting Cricky Splashtastic Summer Stamp Set and put together words to make it say, "Wishing you a Snow Day." For the word Snow, I used the letters separately from the different words to make it say snow.
Eleventh: Then, adhere tag to front of treat favor with a decorative ribbon.

 "Front of Card"

 "Inside of Card"
"Side of Card with Treat inside"
 "Back of Card"
Materials:
Winter Frolic Cartridge: Snowman2 page 29 for Tags
Recollections: Christmas Paper Stack
Colorbox Ink: Blue Lagoon
Celebrate Occasion Ribbon: Silver
Getting Cricky Stamp Set: Splastastic Summer
Teal Card Stock
Glue Dots and Pop Up Dots
Xyron Tape Runner

12 Days Of Christmas Blog Hop: Day 12

If you are looking for Die Cuttin Divas Tuesday Challenge: Click Here
Welcome to Day 12: 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop: Day 12! Can you believe the Holidays are quickly approaching. What great way to start of the Season by visiting us for these 12 Days filled with Christmas Ideas. If you have arrived from Sandra's blog, you are in the right place, if not I would really love for you to start at the beginning with our dearest Host Sylvia.

This Christmas Season is the best holiday for me because I look forward to spending the holidays with my family and husband. But also to be able to give others as best as I can. My goal for this Christmas Season is to give back some how. I know that I am not able to help everyone but every little counts. This Christmas I would love to provide one child in need of a Christmas miracle by providing them with a back pack filled with items such as clothes, a toy, school supplies, and yummy snacks. I also want to find out about how I can go help at a shelter and serve food to the people in need. Truly these are my goals for this Christmas Season and hope to accomplish them. With these 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop, you will get to see some fun projects that I plan to send out to some kids or family and brighten up their day.

Wow! Can you believe? We have shared over 12 projects the celebrate the Holiday Season. I hope that we have filled you with ideas and inspirations. I thank all of you who have been stopping by each day to take a peek at the projects I have made. So as my final project, I wanted to create something fun that can be given to kids as a Special Holiday Treat. I decorated these cute little gift boxes that can be given to a boy and girl. I was excited to use my cartridge Winter Frolic. They have so many cute images. Each treat box may be filled with different type of treats, but for this one I filled it with a Caught Being Good Ticket and a pack of Crackers since it goes perfectly with my sentiment stamp: "Is it too late to be good?" from Crafty Sprouts: Have a Cool Yule" Stamp Set. Hope everyone will like this!

Directions: Take a Wedding Favor Box and measure the Christmas Paper around the box to get the right size. I believe mine was measured at 2.5 x 12 but probably less than that. Just cut any excess off as you adhere it to the box. Then take a strip of Holiday ribbon and adhere around the box. Then, use pop ups to add the image to the center of your box. I added stickles to part of the images to make them stand out. Then, I attached a tag to each treat box and filled it with goodies. Finally, you have yourself a Christmas Treat Favor that can be given to a child.

Materials:
Christmas Paper
Holiday Ribbon
Crafty Sprouts Stamp Set: "Have a Cool Yule"
Stickles
Winter Frolic Cartridge: Girl & Boy Size 3, Tag on the Girl page: Size 1.5

With these 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop, you will get to see some fun projects that I plan to send out to some kids or family and brighten up their day.

For this project, I made another Christmas Ornament. I wanted to create a Present Ornament created by using a foam square that I purchased from a pack of foam squares that I bought at the Dollar Tree. Then, I used Christmas Paper and wrapped it like a present. Then I cut the Christmas sentiment from Christmas Paper. I also used the Winter Bundle Ribbon from 3 Girls Jam to glue around the present. I then hot glued the brown spool ribbon to create the handle.

12 Days Of Christmas Blog Hop: Day 10

Welcome to Day 10: 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop: Day 10!

With these 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop, you will get to see some fun projects that I plan to send out to some kids or family and brighten up their day.

For this project, I decorated a Metal Container that I purchased at Target in the $1.00 bin as a Gift Container. Since these normally cost more than 3 bucks at Michaels and Joanns, I ended up getting several to have. For this Gift Tin, you can fill it up with candy, Christmas Items, or just anything fun.

First, you need to cut 4 x 12 Christmas paper and wrap it around the container. Then, I used ribbon from the winter ribbon of 3 Girls Jam to wrap around the container and handle. Then I hot glue a Holiday brad to the center of the container as it is attached to a green ribbon.

Metal Container

Merry & Bright Ribbon
